Clinical Research

In a recent clinical study conducted by an independent Physician specializing in Cosmetic Laser Surgery the RejuvaWand was tested to determine its safety and effectiveness in removing and reducing wrinkles, fine lines and improving skin texture. The study included subjects with an average age of 50.5 years. All of the subjects had eye wrinkles in the crows feet area. All of the subjects had under eye wrinkles and fine lines around the eyes.

Results:

  • In as few as 30 days more than 2/3 of subjects showed significant improvement
  • At 60 days 8 out of 10 subjects showed dramatic reduction of wrinkles and fine lines
  • 95% of the evaluated subjects showed an improvement in skin texture
  • Subjects who started with deeper and more noticeable wrinkles showed the most improvement
  • More than 86% of the subjects indicated that they saw an improvement with 56% indicating that the results were either good or excellent
  • There were no complications, adverse events or side effects in over 4,000 treatments
  • 97% of subjects said the RejuvaWand was easy to use and the instructions were easy to follow

A key element of the study was the objective 3D profilometry system used to measure surface changes on the faces of the subjects. This is the same measuring technology used in the Consumer Reports study that found leading wrinkle and anti-aging cream like Oil of Olay Regenerist, Renergie and even the most-costly product tested, La Prairie Cellular ($335 for an ounce of day cream and 1.7 ounces of night cream) did smooth out some fine lines and wrinkles after 12 weeks. Other brands reviewed were RoC, Neutrogena, Avon, L'Oreal, and StriVectin-SD. But even the best performers reduced the average depth of wrinkles by less than 10 percent. RejuvaWand delivered results that were more than 50% better than the best wrinkle cream.
