The company’s management team has developed and introduced revolutionary therapeutic light-based products and treatments in a wide range of medical fields, including dermatology, cosmetic surgery, ophthalmology, gynecology, urology and oncology.
| Horst Adam, CEO and President
Horst is an experienced senior executive who has successfully led several companies as CEO and COO. Most recently he served as president and CEO of Xoft microTube, Inc., a developer of disposable, miniature x-ray tubes used for cancer therapy. At Xoft Horst was responsible for preparing the company for regulatory approvals and commercialization of its first product. His experience also includes a variety of high technology management positions, primarily with therapeutic medical device companies. Horst is currently a board member of Tredegar Corporation.

Marc has played a hands-on executive role in the medical laser, ophthalmic products and cosmetic industries for over 35 years. He has served as V.P. of International Sales for Cutera Medical, formerly Altus Medical; V.P. Sales for Coherent Medical, Sales Manager for Bausch & Lomb and Director of Sales and Marketing for Sunshine Natural Products. Throughout his career, Marc has played a key role in the development and introduction of lasers and other groundbreaking products in the fields of dermatology, ophthalmology, urology, skincare and hair care.
|  | John M. Harland, Chief Financial Officer
For 20 years, John has been the Chief Financial Officer of several high technology and medical device companies, most recently at Accuray Incorporated. He has taken four companies public: Alliance Fiber Optic Products, CardioVascular Imaging Systems, Neurobiological Technologies and Circadian. He was the also the CFO of Indigo Medical, acquired by J&J; Influence Inc., acquired by AMS; and Biometric Imaging, acquired by Becton Dickinson. John was previously with Ernst & Young and is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds an M.A. in Natural Sciences and Business Studies from Cambridge University, England and an M.B.A., with distinction, from Golden Gate University, San Francisco.

Joe has over 20 years of product innovation, development and operations experience in the medical, dental and laser industries. He has an outstanding track record as a founder, inventor and leader of technology-rich organizations. Joe's extensive knowledge of lasers and digital radiography, coupled with his comprehensive and hands-on approach to manufacturing, distinguished him at Alara Inc., where he was a company founder, and at industry-leading companies like Coherent Inc., Spectra Physics and Varian Associates.
| | MEDICAL ADVISORY TEAM | Victor Esch Ph.D.
Dr. Esch graduated from Purdue University (BS), US Air Force Institute of Technology (MS) and the Optical Sciences Center of the University of Arizona (Ph.D.). After completing his service with the US Air Force as a Group Chief of the Nonlinear Optics Center at the Phillips Laboratory he turned to designing cutting edge medical lasers as CTO and VP of Research and Product Development at Indigo Medical, then as Scientist at Sandia National Laboratory and as an entrepreneur and consultant to several private medical device start-up companies. Dr. Esch’s design innovations have been honored by R&D 100 and Photonics Circle of Excellence.
|  | Leonardo Rasi MD
Dr. Leonardo Rasi was the principal investigator for the clinical study conducted on the RejuvaWand. Dr. Rasi received his MD at Loma Linda University School of Medicine where he also trained in general surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, a Member of the American College of Phlebology and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. In addition Dr. Rasi is the co-founder and Medical Director of Senza Aesthetic Medicine & Vein Center and serves on the Physician Advisory Group and is a trainer/lecturer for aesthetic laser company Cutera.

IDEO provided industrial design, mechanical and electrical design, as well as manufacturing support for Light Dimension's first product to market, the RejuvaWand. IDEO has developed award-winning products for Pepsi, P&G, Apple and Evenflo, to name just a few. IDEO was chosen by Light Dimensions for its comprehensive approach to design, which emphasizes an understanding of the human factors that govern how a product will actually be used, and the firm's staff of outstanding designers, engineers and project managers.
